The Bear Came Over to My House is a short book but a good book. It is about a bear that goes to a girl’s house and finds what he can find. He brings a swing there then he swings off. He lands in mud. He thinks he stinks so he takes a bath in the creek. He woke up a snake. He leaped across the creek. He leaped over the sheep. He landed in a yard and he broke a rake. The girl said, “Oh, dear!” The bear got a treat (strawberries). A chair got stuck on his bottom. He spelled “good night” with his treat and left.
